Awards 獎項
The top five male and female participants in the Elite group will receive tournament trophies.
The top three male and female participants in each age group will receive award plaques.
The top five mixed teams in the elite division will receive team trophies.
The remaining participants who complete the competition within the time limit will be awarded a completion trophy .
The mixed team's score will be calculated based on the last team member who crosses the finish line.
The mixed team's score will not be included in the top five or age group rankings.
The top five male and female participants will not be included in the age group rankings.
The New Year NE Mountain Race 2025 is an ITRA and UTMB accredited event. Elite and Challenge categories can earn 2 points and 1 point respectively in the ITRA ranking, and also receive UTMB points.

If you need your friend to pick up the Race Pack for you, please send the confirmation letter to him/her and ask him/her to collect it.
Non-local participants who are unable to collect their Race Packs at the Chamonix Alpine Equipment from December 28th to December 29th can collect them at the starting point before 08:15 on the day of the race.

Transport 交通
Shuttle bus service will be provided on the day of the event, and participants can purchase shuttle bus tickets when filling out the registration form.
Outbound Departure: (Arrive 10 minutes early. No waiting for latecomers, to avoid disrupting the competition.)
Pick-up time and location:
Kowloon Tong MTR Station at 07:15 ($40)
Boarding location: Exit D of Kowloon Tong Station. After exiting the station, walk approximately 30 meters (outside Yew Chung International School Secondary Division).
Admiralty MTR Station at 07:00 ($45)
Boarding location: Exit C2 of Admiralty Station. After exiting the station, turn right and cross the road to the entrance of Admiralty Centre, next to McDonald's.
Drop-off location: Hok Tau Reservoir BBQ Site
Return Departure:
The return buses start at 15:00, with one 28 seater mini bus departing every half an hour. The last bus departs at 18:00.

Rules 賽事規則
Stay on marked course. No shortcuts allowed.
Runners must finish the race using their own power and are not allowed to have pacers. They may only receive support from their support teams at the checkpoints.
Number bibs and chips cannot be transferred to others.
Racing Bibs must be visible to race marshals.
Respect the beautiful HK Country Parks. Strictly no littering allowed; any runners caught littering will be disqualified.
Participants should prioritize their own safety as well as the safety of others, and should be mindful and considerate of other users at all times during the event.
All cutoff times, unless otherwise announced officially, are straightly observed.
Except for injuries, any drop outs must be done at checkpoints and race marshals must be notified. Your bib would be altered to mark the DNF status. Retired runners are considered out of the race and are responsible for arranging transportation to leave the CP on their own accord.
If there is any dispute or complaint, it must be reported to the organizer within one hour after the participant completes the race, along with relevant evidence. The decision of the organizer is final and there is no appeal mechanism.
CP staff would exert the right to stop a runner’s race if the runner’s condition is deemed unfit to continue. CP staff’s decisions are considered final. If an emergency evacuation is required, the runner would be responsible for paying for such service. Insurance policy covering emergency evacuation is strongly recommended.

Arrangements for different weather conditions:
If the No. 8 or higher typhoon signal is still in effect at 7:00 AM on the race day, the event will be postponed.
If the black rainstorm warning is issued between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM on the race day, the event will be postponed.
If the red rainstorm or thunderstorm warning is issued at 9:00 AM on the race day, the organizer will decide whether to start the race as scheduled, delay the start, or postpone the event, depending on the actual weather conditions in the race area.
In the event of extremely inclement weather during the race, the event will be terminated. Unless instructed otherwise by the checkpoint personnel, participants must return to the finish line to retrieve their belongings.
Remarks
No receipt service.
The conference has luggage storage (not responsible for any property loss).
Participants need to have sufficient training and rest before the competition, and pay attention to their own physical condition. If they feel unwell, they should not force themselves to compete.
The activity does not include any personal insurance. Participants are responsible for their own safety.
Once your registration is confirmed, no refunds will be provided.
The organizer reserves the right to use any photographs or videos of participants taken by the event photographer. These images may be used for promotional purposes by the organizer, including (but not limited to) websites, social media, newsletters, or media releases. The images and videos may also be shared with third parties and event sponsors for their promotional purposes.
The organizer reserves the rights to amend the rules and regulations without prior notice.
需跟隨已標記賽道,不可抄捷徑。
跑手需以自身力量完成賽事,不允許陪跑,只可於檢查站接受支援隊伍補給 。
號碼布及晶片不得轉讓別人。
號碼布必需要掛於清晰可見位置,以供賽會識別用。
愛惜香港郊野,請勿在賽道上拋棄任何垃圾。被發現遺留垃圾者將被取消資格。
參賽者應為了自己和他人的安全著想,無論任何時間都應關心和顧及途中的其他使用者。
除非大會特定宣布,否則所有關門時間將會嚴格執行。
除緊急醫療狀況外,跑手若需棄賽,必需在檢查站方可棄賽。號碼布被留(DNF)記號後,不能繼續在賽道上比賽。棄賽者需自行安排交通離開檢查站。
如有任何爭議或投訴,必須在參加者完成比賽後1小時內通知大會,並提供相關証據。大會的決定為最終裁決,不設上訴。
任何經駐站人員診察後身體狀況不適宜繼續的跑手,駐站人員有權終止其比賽。駐站人員之決定為不可逆轉。如跑手之狀況需要緊急運送,該等運送費用需由跑手自付。大會建議跑手參賽前,購買包含緊急醫療運送的個人保險。

比賽當天上午7:00天文台發出的八號或以上颱風信號仍然生效,比賽將會改期進行。
比賽當天上午7:00-9:00天文台發出黑雨警告,比賽將會改期進行。
比賽當天上午9:00天文台發出紅雨或雷暴警告,大會會視乎比賽區域的實際天氣情況而決定照原定時間起步、延遲起步或改期比賽。
如比賽期間出現極端惡劣天氣,比賽將會腰斬,除非檢查站人員有其他指示,參賽者則需要回到終點取回行李。
備註
不設收據服務。
大會設有行李寄存(不負責任何財物損失)。
參賽者需要在賽前有足夠的訓練及休息,並留意個人的身體狀況, 如身體不適,切勿強行出賽。
活動並不包括任何個人保險,參加者須為自身安全負責。
確認報名成功後不設退款。
主辦單位保留使用大會攝影師所拍攝的參賽者任何照片或影片的權利。這些圖片可能會用於主辦單位的宣傳,包括(但不限於)網站、社交媒體、新聞通訊或媒體發布。圖像和影片也可以與第三方和活動贊助商分享,用於他們的宣傳目的。
