If you need your friend to pick up the race pack for you, please forward the confirmation email  to him/her and ask him/her to collect it.

Non-local participants who are unable to collect their race packs during the designated period may collect them at the starting point 30 minutes before the race begins on race day. 

Participants who register on or after Aug 19

Please collect your Race Pack at the event center before 08:30 on the day of the race.

( Race T-shirts or vests are custom-made according to the size and color selected by the participant. Production takes time, and those who register on or after July 10 will receive theirs on or after the race day.)

General Rules

1. Participants must carefully read the event terms, conditions, and arrangements. By submitting their registration, participants indicate their compliance and acceptance of all event terms, conditions, and arrangements introduced by the organizers herein and thereafter.

2. Participants understand and agree that the event is voluntary in nature. Participants are willing to assume all risks and responsibilities and do not have the right to claim compensation or hold the organizers liable for injuries, accidents, deaths, or any form of loss occurring during or as a result of traveling to and from the event venue or participating in the event.

3. Each participant must ensure that their physical health is suitable for participating in the event. If in doubt, please consult a doctor for advice. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant deemed unsuitable, and the concerned parties must abide by the decision of the organizers.

4. Participants must ensure that the information provided on the registration form is accurate.

5. The organizers reserve the right to close registration early without prior notice.

6. Participants must meet the age requirements for each event; those who violate this rule will be immediately disqualified.

7. Before receiving awards, the event organizers have the right to request winners to present identification documents, including Hong Kong identity cards, passports, etc., to verify their identity.

8. Respect the beautiful HK Country Parks. Strictly no littering allowed; any runners caught littering will be disqualified.

9. Participants should prioritize their own safety as well as the safety of others, and should be mindful and considerate of other users at all times during the event. 

10. If a participant's actions, negligence, or deliberate sabotage during the event result in additional expenses for the organizers, the participant must provide reasonable compensation.

11. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify and nullify the results of any participants who violate or fail to comply with any Hong Kong laws and regulations, venue regulations, or event rules, and to prohibit and refuse their participation in and attendance at any future events or activities organized by the event. The registration fee of disqualified participants will not be refunded.

12. The organizer reserves the right to use any photographs or videos of participants taken by the event photographer. These images may be used for promotional purposes by the organizer, including (but not limited to) websites, social media, newsletters, or media releases. The images and videos may also be shared with third parties and event sponsors for their promotional purposes.

13. For the safety of all participants, it is recommended that all participants download the HKSOS mobile application before the race and use it during the event.

14. The event organizers has purchased public liability insurance. If necessary, participants should purchase personal accident insurance and other appropriate insurance on their own.

15. These terms and conditions include both English and Chinese versions. In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.

16. The organizers reserve the right to change the event terms and conditions. In case of any disputes, the organizers retain the ultimate decision-making authority.

Event Rules

1. The participant’s eligibility age shall be based on their full age as of the competition date, calculated according to their date of birth.

2. The participant's age and gender will be based on identification documents, and the organizers have the right to request participants to provide identification documents for verification.

3. Participants under the age of 18 must obtain the consent of their guardian, fill out and sign the declaration provided by the organizer, and submit it to the organizer. They can only participate in the event after the organizer confirms the submission.

4. During the race, all participants must wear their race bibs.

5. Participants are responsible for keeping their race bibs safe. A re-issuance of the race bib will incur an administrative fee of HK$50.

6. If a participant allows another person to use their race bib / timing chips, both the participant and the proxy runner will be disqualified.

7. Stay on marked course. No shortcuts allowed.

8. Participants must not harass or obstruct other participants during the event. Violators will be disqualified and asked to leave the event venue.

9. Cheating is strictly prohibited during the event. Violators will be disqualified upon detection.

10. All awards and rankings will be based on the gun time set by the organizers.

11. In case of any disputes regarding awards and rankings, the organizers reserve the ultimate decision-making authority.

12. Participants who violate any event rules will have their participation eligibility revoked and will not receive any awards or certificates. The registration fees paid will not be refunded.

Mandatory Equipment 

Due to hot weather and to prevent dehydration or heatstroke, every participant must carry at least 500ml of drinks. 

Recommended Equipment ​

Appeals

1. Any appeals must be submitted to the organizers within 15 minutes after the publication of the respective category's results.

2. Appeals will only be accepted on the day of the race; no appeals will be entertained after 15 minutes following the announcement of results.

3. In case of disputes, the organizers retain the ultimate decision-making authority.

Baggage Storage

1. Participants can store their personal items in the baggage storage area provided by the organizers. Valuable items should not be stored, and the organizers will not be liable for any damage or loss. Participants using this arrangement are deemed to have accepted these terms.

Event Cancellation and Refunds

1. Due to the following reasons, the organizer reserves the right to cancel, shorten, or reschedule the event without refunding the registration fee:
   a. Inclement weather
   - If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted by the Hong Kong Observatory on the event day at 6 am, the event will be canceled.
   - If Red or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted by the Hong Kong Observatory on the event day at 9 am, the Event Director has the authority to delay the start time or cancel the event.
   - If inclement weather or any of the above warnings occur during the event, the Event Director has the authority to change the event route or cancel the ongoing event.
   b. Fallen tree, landslides, mudslides, wildfires on the event venue/route.
   c. Protests, demonstrations, or road closures/blockages on the event route.
   d. Force majeure events that are beyond the control of the organizers and make it impossible, unsafe, or impractical to hold the event. Force majeure events include but are not limited to natural disasters, wars, hostilities, invasions, rebellions, revolutions, uprisings, riots, strikes, lockouts, work stoppages, bans on work or unrest, disease outbreaks, as well as acts and threats of terrorism.

2. Registration fees are non-refundable for all successfully registered participants.

3. Transfer of slots: Participants can transfer their slots to others with an administrative fee of HK$50.

4. The organizers reserve the right to cancel the results of any individuals who breach, violate, or fail to comply with any event regulations. If a participant is disqualified, the registration fee will not be refunded.

5. The organizers have the right to modify and interpret the above rules. Any temporary changes or cancellations related to the event will be announced on the race website or Facebook page. Participants are advised to stay updated on these platforms.

一般規則

1. 參加者必須仔細閱讀活動條款、細則及安排。遞交報名後，即表示參加者遵守及接受在此及其後所有主辦者所引入之一切活動條款、細則及安排。

2. 參加者明白及同意活動屬自願參與性質，參加者願意承擔一切風險及責任，並無權向主辦者追討由往返活動場地中、活動中發生或其他原因而引致之自身受傷、意外、死亡或任何形式的損失索償或追究責任。

3. 每位參加者必須確保身體健康狀況是適合參加是次活動。如有疑問，請先諮詢醫生的意見。主辦者在懷疑的情況下，保留取消任何不適宜參加者參加的權利，而相關人士必須接受主辦者的決定。

4. 參加者必須確保在報名表格上之資料正確無誤。

5. 主辦者有權提早截止報名日期，而不作任何通知。

6. 參加者需按各活動的年齡要求參與，違例者將被即時取消參加資格。

7. 參加者領獎前，大會有權要求得獎者出示身份證明文件，包括︰香港身份證、護照等，以核實身份。

8. 愛惜香港郊野，切勿在賽道上拋棄任何垃圾。被發現遺留垃圾者將被取消資格。

9. 參賽者應為了自己和他人的安全著想，無論任何時間都應關心和顧及途中的其他使用者。

10. 若參加者在活動期間因任何行為、過失或蓄意破壞而導致主辦者支付額外開支，必須對主辦者作出合理之賠償。

11. 大會保留權利取消任何觸犯、違反或不遵守任何香港法例及條例、場地守則或大會活動規則人士的參賽資格及成績，以及禁止及拒絕相關人士參與及出席大會未來任何賽事、比賽及活動。被取消資格的參賽者之報名費，將不獲退還。

12. 大會保留使用大會攝影師所拍攝的參賽者任何照片或影片的權利。這些圖片可能會用於主辦單位的宣傳，包括（但不限於）網站、社交媒體、新聞通訊或媒體發布。圖像和影片也可以與第三方和活動贊助商分享，用於他們的宣傳目的。 

13. 為所有參賽者安全，建議所有參賽者於賽前下載HKSOS手機應用程式，並於比賽期間使用。

14. 大會已購買公眾責任保險。如有需要，參加者應自行購買個人意外保險及其他合適的保險。

15. 本條款及細則包括英文及中文版本，若英文與中文之內容有任何歧義，則以中文版本為準。

16. 主辦者保留更改大會條款及細則之權利。如有任何爭議，主辦者保留最終決定權。

賽事規則

1. 參賽年齡以比賽當日實足年齡為準，按出生日期計算。

2. 參加者年齡及性別以身份證明文件為準，大會有權要求參賽者提供身份證明文件以核實身份。

3. 未滿18歲參賽者必須得到監護人同意，填寫及簽署由主辦單位提供之「監護人聲明」並交回主辦單位，經主辦單位確認後方可出賽。

4. 比賽期間，所有參加者必須掛上號碼布。

5. 參加者須自行保存好號碼布，重發號碼布報名平台將收取行政費港幣50元。

6. 若參加者容許他人用其號碼布／晶片，此參加者及代跑者將會被取消參加資格。

7. 參加者需跟隨已標記賽道，不可抄捷徑 

8. 參加者不得騷擾或妨礙其他參加者進行活動，違例者會被取消參加資格及被要求離開有關活動場地。

9. 活動期間不得作弊，一經發現，違例者會被取消參加資格。

10. 所有獎項及名次均以大會鳴槍時間計算。

11. 如對於獎項及名次有任何爭議，主辦者保留最終決定權。

12. 如參加者違反任何賽事規則，其參加資格將會被取消及不會獲頒發任何獎項或證書，其所已繳付的報名費用將不予發還。

1. 天氣炎熱，為防缺水中暑，每位參賽者必須攜帶最少500ml飲品

上訴

1. 如有任何上訴，請於該組別成績公佈後 15 分鐘內向大會提出。

2. 大會只接受比賽當日上訴，成績公佈 15 分鐘後將不接受任何上訴。

3. 如有爭議，主辦者保留最終決定權。

行李寄存

1. 參加者的個人物件可存放於大會提供之行李寄存區。切勿存放貴重物品，如有損毀或遺失，大會將不會負任何責任及作出任何賠償。參加者一旦使用此安排，已被假定接受此條款。

活動取消及退款

1. 因應以下原因，主辦者有權取消、縮短或改期舉行活動，並且不會因此退還報名的費用。

   • 惡劣天氣

     • 如於活動當天上午6時或以後天文台懸掛八號或以上颱風訊號，活動將會取消。

     • 如於活動當天上午9時天文台懸掛紅色或黑色暴雨警告，活動總監有權延遲起步時間或取消活動。

     • 如活動進行中天氣惡劣或懸掛上述任何警告，活動總監有權將活動路線改變或取消正在進行中的活動。

   • 活動場地/路線發生塌樹、山泥傾瀉、泥石流、山火

   • 抗議示威或活動路線被封閉/阻塞

   • 不可抗力因素，即發生超出主辦者所能控制的事件和令舉辦活動成為不可能，不安全或不切實際的情況。不可抗力事件包括但不限於天災、戰爭、敵對行為、侵略、叛亂、革命、起義、暴動、騷亂、罷工、怠工、禁工或動亂、疾病的爆發以及恐怖主義行為和威脅

2. 所有報名者成功登記後均不可退款。

3. 名額轉讓需付 50 港元的行政費。

4. 主辦者保留權利取消任何觸犯、違反或不遵守任何大會守則人士的成績。若參加者被取消資格，報名費將不獲退還。

5. 主辦者擁有修改及解釋以上規則的權利。任何有關活動的臨時改動或取消，將以比賽網頁或Facebook專頁公佈為準。參加者請留意有關網頁及專頁的公佈。
